Codetrain Africa
A coding school with life-changing results, and a brand that finally said so.
Great school. Quiet brand.
Codetrain trains full stack web and mobile developers in Accra and Kumasi, and 90% of its graduates land jobs. But in a market suddenly full of people promising to teach code, that story wasn’t cutting through, and the education packages weren’t selling.
It started in a room at their office
We ran strategy sessions with founder Richard Brandt and project lead Marilyn Gyan, right at the Codetrain office, and dug into what actually made the school different: real projects, real mentorship, real jobs at the end. Then we built the messaging and identity around that truth.
A launch you couldn’t scroll past
The new identity rolled out everywhere ambition lives: social feeds, billboards, campus events. Clean, confident, and impossible to mistake for a side project.
The next cohort answered
Right after launch the impressions rolled in, sales followed, and student enrollment jumped in the very next cohort. Exponential is an overused word. Here it was the accurate one.
90%
Job placement rate the brand finally matched
